No data protection officer has been appointed. The conditions for a mandatory appointment under § 38 BDSG are not met, as fewer than 20 people are permanently engaged in the automated processing of personal data.

The provider processes the data collected via this website on our behalf. The basis is our legitimate interest in providing our online offering securely and efficiently (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

When you access this website, information is automatically stored in server log files that your browser transmits: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP address.

This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation and security of the website. Log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest.

When you send us an enquiry via the contact form or the configurator, we process the data you provide: name, email address, optionally company and phone number, your message, any uploaded file and — for a configurator enquiry — the sign configuration you selected.

Processing takes place in order to answer your enquiry and to carry out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) as well as on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you give when submitting the form. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future; an informal email is sufficient.

We store the enquiry data until the purpose of processing no longer applies, you request deletion, or you withdraw your consent. Mandatory statutory retention periods — in particular commercial and tax law periods of up to ten years — remain unaffected.

We use the service Resend (Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA) to send the enquiry notification and your confirmation email.

The data you provide is transmitted to and processed by Resend. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR. A data processing agreement is in place with Resend. Transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses or certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

This website uses locally hosted fonts. The font files are downloaded at build time and served from our own server. No connection to Google servers is established and no data is transferred to third parties.

This website does not set any cookies for analytics or marketing purposes and does not embed any tracking services. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

The booking calendar on the contact page (see section 8), by contrast, embeds an external service.

On our contact page we offer booking an initial call via Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4382, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA).

The booking calendar loads when you open the contact page. Doing so establishes a connection to Cal.com servers and transmits your IP address there. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in straightforward appointment scheduling (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR); for handling the appointment itself it is the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

If you book an appointment, Cal.com processes the data you provide (name, email address, time zone, optional message). If the appointment takes place as a video call, a Google Meet link is additionally generated; the provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Your data is only passed on where this is necessary to perform the contract — for example to our manufacturing partner to produce your sign, to shipping service providers for delivery and to our tax advisors for bookkeeping. All recipients are contractually bound to confidentiality.

You have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of processing (Art. 15 GDPR). You also have the right to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and a right to object (Art. 21 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

For security reasons this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar switching from “http://” to “https://”. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
